So Gut-wrenching and Emotionally Mindblowing!!I dare any women/man who reads this book say they werent overcome with hate, fear, joy and come away feeling shaken by half way through.Damn can this author write!!!There is not many books I've read where I absolutely hated one of the main characters. And the more I read the more I wanted to kill Ted myself. Man is he a piece of work.Now Leia is one hell of a woman in more ways than one. She's sweet, kind, strong, smart and passionate. She definitely didnt deserve all the heartache she endured, from losing her parents at a young age to the horrific and shocking way a man she loved turned into a monster and worse.By the end though I was Smiling and Yelling.. Yes.. Yes... Yes... for more than one reason and thats all Im gonna say, lol.Mature readers, some strong language, violence and sexual content.

This story has a very fresh storyline. Leia comes from a wealthy family and loses her parents at a young age, 15. As a young adult Leia starts running the family cosmetic business and starts to live a little. One day she is driving around relaxing and is hit by a motorbike and finds the man, Ted to be in need of some help. Leia helps him out and she has a connection with him. Leia does things differently with Ted and thinks she is hiding her wealth from him as she wants to find love not a man after her for her money. Ted is a caring man and goes all out showing he loves Leia and they marry and start life with a future full of happiness ahead of them. Slowly Ted breaks down Leia and things start to unravel and once Leia becomes pregnant do things go to hurtful and degrading way of life. Ted can never become successful on his own and it takes all the good from him and makes him a nasty man. During an argument Ted takes things too far and does some unthinkable things and all we can hope for is one day he gets what he deserves. Leia fights to get back to her boys and become the mother she knows she can be. I was happy to see the out come this story has and ended with a beautiful ending! One day, after an argument, Ted does the unthinkable, he takes the boys and leaves Leia badly injured. Revenge is bitter but sweet when served! Another great read from Mia , this one's a little darker but it has you turning pages from the beginning Leia's parents died when she was young and left her a successful company to when she was old enough , Ted is a charmer but shows his true colours as he is scamming her telling her he loves her when all he is after is her money , one day he leaves her for badly injured and takes the twins they have with him , revenge is definitely sweet when she meets Taylor and falls in love , it takes three long years to exact her revenge but she does it with Taylors help , a well written suspenseful read with a great storyline , a definite one to readI received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Man, talk about a rough road to travel. Mia never hesitates to bring out every shadow, evil incarnate, especially when it comes to people. Our main female has been plagued with one disaster after another. Talk about deceit, betrayal, hatred, uncertainty, danger and suspense bringing this raging storyline and thrilling plot roaring to life spectacularly. This is one hard hitting, action packed, fast paced, heart pounding, nailbiting, page turning delight makes for one exceptional experience. You get it all. The characters are complex and believable with such depth and individuality it feels like you can just reach out and touch them. The chemistry and connection between the main two are out of this world. So deep, so real and yet strong enough to bend. The scenes are vividly detailed and descriptive it paints a fantastic backdrop that adds more realism and keeps it on point and life like. Strong willed, determined and complete focus of one courageous woman, not to mention her love, sets the pace for this page turning bombshell. Mia has such immense talent and passion that she lets flow continually you can feel on every page. The scenes are so graphic and descriptive it paints a fantastic backdrop that really makes the storyline pop. This story is about Leia with first husband Ted then new love Taylor. Leia is a billionaire woman who lost her parent at a young age and in her mid-twenties falls in love quick with someone who she had an accident. Within a short time, she declares her love to Ted, gets engaged, transfers her power of attorney with no prenup, gets married and has twins. Shortly after the honeymoon, she gets an image of her new husband to be a freeloader when confronting him, his true colors show. She then realizes that she is pregnant and after the twins are born, Ted demands respect and she tries to threaten him with calling the police, he decides to kill her (unsuccessfully of course).Honestly, the story was more about how Leia lived while with Ted, then the attempted murder, then being found by her new love to stay out of sight for three years to come up with a revenge plan in order to get her twins back. Her revenge was calculating and overall the story ended well for her, the twins and her new love, Taylor, but I ask can someone be so close to someone that tried to kill you? I would have probably wanted his head on a platter.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
